Children suspected to have special needs and/or disabilities often need to be assessed and diagnosed before support services can be accessed. Assessment services as well as the most commonly prescribed therapies - Physiotherapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Therapy (ST) -  are available both publicly and privately. In addition, certain support and welfare are available to families of children with special needs and disabilities in Hong Kong.
