The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: Love Healthy Life Sport and Nutrition Programme
We are very fortunate to have the Jockey Club's support to organize the 4th cohort of our nutrition programme at our centre. This free-of-charge programme aims to provide 1-year of nutrition services for students with autism, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and various special needs. Based on our experience, students with special needs often face difficulties in obtaining adequate and balanced nutrition to support their growth (e.g. obesity, gout, hyperuricemia, slow growth/malnutrition, picky eating, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.). We hope this programme can help the students and alleviate the stress for their families. We are now recruiting members for the upcoming nutrition and sports programme starting in May. There is no charge for participants. Attached is the promotional flyer for the programme.
