About the Event

Understanding Hong Kong's public services labyrinth can be stressful, especially if you don't know how to navigate the system as a parent of a child with special needs. Join us as we unravel the puzzle with Sarah Tam, an SNNHK parent and advocate for special needs. We will help you understand the entitlements and services available for children with special needs, disabilities and complex medical needs, and help answer your questions.

In the talk, we will cover the following areas and more:

  • Public medical care

  • Early intervention

  • Central referral system for rehabilitation services

  • Disability and tax allowance
