About the Event
SNNHK is excited to be hosting Be Priceless founder Dr Czarina Leung – winner of The One HK Humanitarian Award 2023 – to present an interactive workshop for parent and caregivers.
There is nothing more important to parents than keeping their child safe as they grow up and interact with peers and adults in the community, in school, and online. For parents of children with special needs and disabilities, there may be additional challenges in helping their child navigate social interactions, recognise and adopt appropriate behaviours, and protect their own bodies, as well as understand the risks of communicating online.
Join this workshop online and learn how to:
- Help your child Stay Safe from in-person and online exploitation, bullying, and inappropriate social interactions.
- Prevent and Prepare your child and other family members against potentially violent situations.
- Communicate and practice an Action Plan with your child.
- Take away some practical approaches you can apply with your family at home.
